Sara and Tim's Wedding--Sundance, Utah

What a perfect day! The leaves changed just in time and the details were a hit. All of our amazing vendors helped us to make this a wonderful wedding celebration for the entire family. Sara and Tim (Mike, Barb, Claire and Bruce) thanks for allowing us to assist you with such a fabulous event. We'll be talking about it for a long time. All of you were so great to work with. We appreciate the opportunity and we are so happy for all of you. May you get some sleep!

Wedding Favors with a Cause

There are only so many nuts, cookies and chocolates your guests can eat. Making a donation to your favorite charity is becoming more and more popular. But how to let your guests know the donation has been made can get tricky. Unless you are the mother of the bride with a passion. We recently had the pleasure of working with a mom who was determined to make sure their contribution to their favorite charity didn't go unnoticed. She began by sponsoring a pet (yes a pet) in honor of every guest on their guest list (not just those able to attend the wedding). Each contribution put the guest on the mailing list for Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah. At the wedding, each guest received a beautiful booklet engraved (http://www.nine-graindesign.com/) with Best Friends Mission Statement and a note from the bride and groom letting the guest know that a pet had been sponsored in their name and how they could continue to support their pet in the future. Upon opening the booklet the guest received a color photo of their pet with a very detailed bio of their pet. To top it off, the booklet was wrapped in a white organza bag with a dog bone engraved necklace (http://www.semarier.net/) which served as the guest placecard. By the end of the night, each guest at this black tie affair was wearing the necklace. It was truly our pleasure to work with our mother of the bride. Her dedication and personal attention to this very special detail went noticed by all of her guests. She insisted on being a part of the assembly process and we appreciated the opportunity to be a part of such a special favor!

Transforming a Room

We recommend you choose a venue for the look, feel, and service. However, sometimes there are those venues that are perfect in everyway but you feel you need to add some decor to make it the wedding you are looking for. Well we recently did just that. Our bride had a vision of modern chic dressed in white. It was amazing. They didn't overlook anything and allowed us to do what we do best. We made room for 168 guests but created an intimate setting for 8. Each guest table dressed in white allowed for 8 guests to share in a six course meal paired with the bride and groom's favorite wine selections. Each table provided a dining room feel with drum chandeliers hung at dining room height. The result; an intimate affair with great food, fine wine, and a romantic feel. Everything in white with a touch of chartreuse green and eggplant. Take a look at some of our favorite images.

Keep Your Young Guests Busy....

Are you worried about kids running around your reception? Kids make memories at weddings but need a little help staying focused. Plan for them and help them to keep busy with our new "MY WEDDING WAYS" activity kit. Designed with every young guest in mind. This kit allows the owner to design a limo, play tic-tac-toe, and enjoy a wedding word search. Inside your guest will find a bottle of water, snack, disposable camera, activity book, crayons, pencil, magic trick, note pad, stickers, and a magnetic game! Fun for all ages in an easy to carry case. These young guests, their parents, and your guests will thank you for the fun-in-a-box! Take it a step further and plan for white butcher paper instead of a linen on their table, add more markers, a few candy jars (in your wedding colors of course) and you'll have to keep everyone else who doesn't belong, away! A huge hit. $24.50. Available by calling us at 435.655.2943
